Text SEO - Tag SEO - ALT Text - Text Examples

Hi guys. I wanted to give you a brief overview of everything here before you read the other pages in detail. I decided to give you what I consider to be the "plain English" definitions to my keyword phrases... or just "keywords" for short.  Text SEO is simply using keywords, phrases, and themes to help your page show up in search results. The best way to achieve this is to be natural, and unique.  In other words, don't try to force keywords.  Just write from the heart.  This particular post is not published on any other web page, so it should do well in search results for the keyword phrases I've selected (the title... hint hint) and also for unique content.

Tag SEO is using your keyword in a link. For example, since I've posted "other unique content" on another page for the keyword "text SEO" I can use a link like this:  To Learn Text SEO For Free Click Here!  That is an example of Tag SEO. You will see "tags" like this at the end of articles if you ever look through article directories. In that case, it may be called your signature line.

ALT text (in most cases) is when you embed your keyword into a photo. This gives search engines a "text" description of what your photo looks like.  It is one of the factors search engines use to rank a page.  Actually, the white box that appears when you hover over something is ALT text.  So, in the last paragraph when I used the tag link example... I also used ALT text in the link... meaning I combined two forms of SEO at the same time.  Really, I combined three types of SEO because the link goes to a page name AND domain name that match the keyword EXACTLY!!!

Sorry.  I hope I didn't confuse you.  Here is a much simpler example of ALT text if I lost you.  Look at the white box that appears when you hover over the following photo.  All the text in the box is looked at by the search engine as a description... so make it keyword rich.

This is a close up of a computer desk I built. I wanted you to see the detail. To see the entire solid wood computer workstation, simply click the picture, and you will see everything in a new window. This is ALT text. Did you get the keyword? If not, check the page title after clicking. Then you can see how the content matches the title, and everything works together.  The keyword is Solid Wood Computer Workstation.  Notice how I used the keyword in the ALT text.  Then notice the page title matches that keyword too.  This is all part of SEO.

So you can see that the paragraphs here are separated into text examples of how to use SEO on your pages... meaning how to optimize your text and tags to get the most out of your content.  I even made the main keywords of this page BLUE, to really drive home my point.  The reason I posted this page is to try to clarify what text seo, tag seo, and alt text mean by using text examples in plain English.  I saved the more technical stuff for later.

Notice in my conclusion, I wrapped things up by repeating the keywords and still sounding natural.  I even used all lower case that time to give variations of the same keywords.  You don't want to just make a list of your keywords, and expect that to work for you.  Use your keywords intelligently.  Google is going to love this page.  Seriously.  That's why I dated it.  So everyone can see how long it takes to get indexed by Google and ranked in search results for each of my keywords.

Well, those are the basics.  If you want to learn more in depth keys to gain momentum in the search engines, read the other subpages on SEO.

P.S.  I just reorganized the pages in the website, causing the page address to change on each of my subpages.  So whatever I had going for those pages will be lost, and I will have to start all over... in terms of search engine indexing I mean.  But I'm not very worried about it, because I have just made THIS the most relevant page OVER the other pages.  Some of the subpages have duplicate content posted on my other domains.  What I attempted to do is target each specific domain name to each keyword... but I don't want to get into all that.   Anyway, good luck!
